Dinner Party Guest? I Choose Tim Gunn
I've played a little game with myself - and friends - for years. It's about choosing which people in the public eye (politicians, actors, business people, musicians) you enjoy. And the criteria: who would you pick to sit next to at a dinner party?
The results are always interesting, since the choices never cease to be surprising. I've had very conservative friends
pick liberal politicians, explaining they like their sense of humor, and would love to spend an evening with them. Then there was the opera buff who declared she'd most like to sit next to Lenny Kravitz. Who knew?
Since this is our Style Source Faves segment, my choice, hands down, for a style guru: Project Runway's own Tim Gunn. He is such a charmer: unfailingly pleasant and gracious even when being treated rudely. Short aside here: Whining, immature Kenley - who once again, made it through last night. I can only guess that the producers haven't let her be axed, because they consider her good TV: see how the sarcastic nitwit will behave in the next episode. Do I sound ungracious? Good! I have zero tolerance for faux adults: you know the ones I mean, they're adults in years only.
But back to the delightful Mr. Gunn. Smart, talented, knowledgable and likable! I'd love to sit next to him and just let him talk the night away!
So today's pick for Style Source Fave: his book, Tim Gunn: A Guide to Quality, Taste & Style.

I love Tim Gunn too! I watch most of his show "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style". Recently I bought his book "A Guide to Quality, Taste and Style" and I learned a lot of things, promise. I would highly recommend this book to everyone.
