The room I've chosen for today's Home Decor Thoughts is one I've loved for years.

While this living room is actually in southern Florida, every time I look at the photo I'm reminded of a house (and living room) that I fell in love with years ago in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Everything about it was golden: the carpets and upholstered pieces in shades of cream and gold, the walls and window treatments, the decorative accents - and of course, the light streaming in from multiple windows gave a golden cast to everything it touched.

I love sunlight - I love yellow/gold shades (remember the sunny yellow guest room.)  And this living room, with it's massive windows, allows the light to become a main attraction.  And besides the seductive light, the room combines very sophisticated drama, with come hither coziness.  What could be better?
