Mountain Houses
It's December, it's cold (most places in the US) and my thoughts are turning to snow. I love snow - don't like to drive in it - but love the
look, the feel, the taste (yes, taste - you've never had snow ice cream?) and love the ambience of sitting by a fire and looking out windows
to a gorgeous, white landscape. And when I think of snow, I think of mountains.
So for today's Style Source Fave, I've chosen a beautiful book: Mountain Houses, by Phillipe Saharoff.
And of course, once again, besides being a source of inspiration, this book would make a lovely holiday gift! Mr. Saharoff traveled through the French and Swiss Alps, and photographed and profiled thirty chalets, farmhouses and cottages. All different sizes - all different decors. A gorgeous book - a gorgeous region.

This post is a mess. If anyone out there knows what the **ll is going on with GoDaddy's platform - please contact me. This was published yesterday - and then disappeared from the site. The spacing is a wreck, and the photos can no longer be resized and moved. The so-called "techies" in Support don't know the first thing about their own products.
