Some years ago I saw photographs of Nancy Corzine's house in The Hamptons.  The photo shoot took place at Christmas time, and as expected, being it was the home of a renowned designer, every room was a still-life of gorgeous perfection.  But not cold, do not touch perfection; no, it was all warm, inviting, come sit down and stay a spell loveliness.
