A Holiday Decorating Idea for the "Out of Time & Energy" Crowd
It's Thursday, four days before the beginning of Hanukkah and one week before Christmas. Here in northern Virginia we're having fairly cold weather (it keeps bouncing back and forth between brrr - it's freezing outside, and what the heck it's in the 50's) and it seems like we're getting rain every other blasted day (I'm not a big rain fan, if you couldn't tell!)
But it is beautiful. Everything is lit, outdoor wreaths, garlands and trees abound - and there's definitely merriness in the air! Many folks consider the charming town of Williamsburg, to be one of the prettiest places in Virginia during the holiday season. It's quaint and picturesque anytime of year, but they definitely go all out for the holidays.
So, for the Style Source Fave segment today, I'm recommending a holiday decorating video from Cindy Cragg, the Williamsburg Home Stylist. There are a number of the Williamsburg videos floating around YouTube; but this is a favorite. It's all about creating a great looking holiday decoration for your door.
Cindy takes clippings from common plants, adds a few things from the florist, and VOILA! - a quick, easy and festive door. So if you're still debating over what to do with that front door (or back door) check out the video. Or if you've already finished all your decorating, just enjoy and maybe get some ideas for next year.
