In Tuscany

For today's Style Source Fave, I've picked a book that's a personal favorite: In Tuscany, by Frances Mayes.

If you're familiar with her other Tuscany books, Under the Tuscan Sun and Bella Tuscany, you'll enjoy this book.  However, In Tuscany is quite different.

This book is more of a guide book - to celebrations, to village life as it revolves around the piazzas, to the Tuscan kitchen, etc.

And while it is much more than a book on style, per se; I'm putting it in that category today because of all the wonderful photographs that give great inspiration, and the fabulous "color" pages that denote the beginning of each new chapter.  For anyone's who is interested in adding Tuscan color to their home, this book makes it easy.  Simply take the book into the paint store, compare colors with those on the paint deck, and next thing you know you'll have some gorgeous walls in your home.

For cooks there are also a number of recipes and photos of  food.  But be warned, if you're trying to cut back on the daily caloric intake this might not be the best book to peruse.  The pictures are beyond scrumptious!

As always, you can find the book at Amazon.com
