More Coco Chanel - Books & Video
For this Thursday's Style Source Faves, I'm going to continue with our Chanel theme from yesterday.
Much has been written about Coco Chanel - about her life - and about her designs.
But these two books consistently get great reviews: Chanel: Her style and her life, by Janet Wallach, and Chanel and Her World, by Edmonde Charles-Roux.
For lovers of Chanel, and all things French, I recommend these books.

As always, both books can be purchased at Amazon.com.
And here's a little video I found on YouTube: it's not quite accurate, as far as who Chanel dressed (I believe Hubert Givenchy dressed Audrey Hepburn) but it has some lovely photos, and for the soudtrack, uses Edith Piaf's beautiful La vie en rose. Always a good thing!
