It was snowing when I woke up this morning - not particularly hard - but the sky was that grayish-white color that you only see in winter.  It's going to be in the 40's today; so the snow will disappear quickly; but the sky...  Ugh.  That dreadful depressing color - a color that sucks the joy out.

So, for today's Home Decor Thoughts, I immediately went to a beautiful outdoor scene.  Nothing depressing about this:



The trees - the shrubs - the flowers - and oh, those beautiful flagstones - laid out with the grass growing  between.

And how about the "peek" into the loggia?

Everything about this scene says blue skies, sunshine, warm days, drinks on the terrace...

Oh my, I need to make sure our Spring/Summer products are going up in the boutique. 

I'm so in the mood for Caribbean blues, grassy greens, straw accessories...
