Burn Notice's Sexy Style - and Sneak Preview of Tonight's Episode

OK, I'm saying it upfront - normally, I wouldn't use a television show as a pick for our Thursday's Style Source Faves segment.

But what can I say?  Burn Notice just tickles my fancy.  And it is Thursday, which means the show is on tonight; and I'm loving the style of Fiona.

Ah yes, Fiona - the character everyone loves!  But today, I want to look at the style of the actress, the lovely Gabrielle Anwar.  She's very petite; and as a basic shrimpette myself   (although I haven't been as thin as she is in - oh, about ten freakin' years!) I'm always interested in how other petite women dress.

In fact, petite women can have a dreadful time finding good clothes - clothes that don't look like they were meant for a fourteen year old.  And while the shopping situation has gotten a lot better; in a recent interview, Gabrielle spoke to this very issue, saying, "... I'm quite small so I have  a hard time shopping for myself... "   There you go - even Hollywood stars!

OK, let's see Fiona/Ms. Anwar:

This is actually a photograph from a Burn Notice episode.

She's been costumed is an ultra form-fitting gown, that shows off and makes the most of her curves.

Of course, she's one of those genetically blessed women that can pull off wearing this dress.

But compare this dress to the photos below, of Gabrielle in her own clothes.

Quite a contrast!  But still perfectly suited to her body - with very feminine, flowy gowns.

You can still tell that she obviously has a great figure, and they all highlight her beautiful shoulders and arms; but they're downright conservative compared to the Burn Notice dress.

But what I love the most, is seeing a beautiful woman (she's not a kid) dressed in an age-appropriate,  sophisticated and sexy style.

Bravo Gabrielle!

And as promised - a sneak peek at tonght's episode:
