It's Tuesday, time for our They Get It segment.   I've been wanting to get some younger people onto our Tuesday list; but as I wrote in last week's post,  there are some inherent difficulties in finding (and agreeing on)  the young ones.
 
But today's pick is a young woman I've been watching for several years now.  She is none other than The Donald's daughter - Ivanka Trump.

I admit, I'm biased when it comes to Ivanka.  No, it has nothing to do with her famous parents.  It has everything to do with how she presents herself.  More than just having keen fashion sense and understanding appropriate attire for the occasion, she is a model for a smart, poised, hard working young woman.

A number of years ago I heard Donald Trump talking about all three of his oldest children, and he was very generous in his praise.  But one thing he said really struck me: my children have never embarrassed me.  Wow.  That is quite a compliment.   I look back on my younger years, and I'm not too sure that my parents would be able to say the same thing.

And I loved the answer Ivanka gave, when she was asked why her name hadn't been all over the newspapers when she was younger, with stories about partying, running around town, etc.  Her response was along the lines of - Are you kidding? My parents would have killed me.  Hm, the making of an intelligent, sensible, responsible adult.
