Another Monday, another This Makes Me Crazy segment (a note for new Savvy Style friends, we split Mondays between What's New & This Makes Me Crazy) and this morning I'll be honest, the subject doesn't really make me crazy - it makes me tired.

I started flipping through a catalogue on Saturday (I swear I'm on every freakin' catalogue list in the country!) this particular one carries a vast array of "beauty products."

Well, what was being promoted?

•  a padded belt that's supposed to flatten my belly, shrink my waistline and tone my arms
•  a toning gel that will lift  my sagging double chin
  
• an undergarment that will sculpt, round, lift and separate my derriere, WHILE trimming the hips, thighs and tummy
  
• silicone enhancers for my bra that will enhance my decolletage and bust with AMPLE curves 
• a shampoo that will promote healthier hair growth
• a deep wrinkle miracle serum that will dramatically reduce my deep wrinkles and surface imperfections
• a cream to get rid of the dark circles under my eyes
• a gel to give me longer, fuller eyebrows and eyelashes
  
• a lip plumper to give me soft, moist , seductive lips

AGH!  Enough, already.  And here I thought I looked pretty, darn good!

No wonder some women fall into the trap of  "I'm not good enough - not pretty enough - not sexy enough, etc."  when there seems to be no end to beauty products that will correct our many flaws.

I'm tired just thinking about it.
