It's Tuesday, time for our They Get It segment, and today our choice is the ever stylish and fabulously funny - Stacy London.

Now, before you say, "Oh please, that's a no-brainer.  She's in the fashion business."  Well, we can think of a few people (who shall remain nameless to protect the guilty) who are also in the business of telling others what to wear that (we think) look positively wretched. 

On the other hand, we've never seen Stacy look anything less than polished and appropriate.  We've talked before about how we love her and Clinton Kelly on What Not to Wear; but  she gets our nod today because she's so much more than a woman with great taste and a great wardrobe.

For instance, did you know she went to Vassar, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa?  This lady's not just stylin'; she's one smart cookie.   And we adore sexy, articulate, intelligent women.  But here's what  we love the most about Stacy: she's the girlfriend you wish you had.

You know, the go-to girl with loads of style and knowledge about fashion; but also the one who dispenses her advice with thoughtfulness and kindness.  Oh sure, she can be hilariously snarky when talking about someone's trashy-slovenly-bizarrre wardrobe; but she's never snarky about the person.

Think about how she relates to the people on What Not to Wear: unlike the reality shows where participants' wardrobes, faces and bodies, are picked apart and unkindly remarked upon; she acts as a cheerleader and  trusted friend.  Yes, the friend who's going to give you a dose of image reality, but always with a kind and generous spirit.

Yes, we love Stacy London: a stylishly dressed woman, whose beautiful wardrobe is matched by a beautiful heart.
