It's another Free For All Friday - hallelujah!  And today we're all about celebrating style - all about  bella figura.    Yes,  the wonderful Italian expression that we took as the name of the boutique.

But what is bella figura?  It's more than the literal translation.  It's about  making a good impression, "cutting a good figure," being seen in a positive light - in ALL aspects of your life. 

One man immediately comes to mind who was the  very essence of bella figura: Cary Grant.  He was much more than just a handsome face - think of the voice, the carriage, the manners - his total style.

Now throw a beautiful woman into the mix -  Eva Marie Saint.  The cool, sexy blonde with the silky voice and femme fatale attitude.  Put the two together on a train, and what do you get?

That's right - North by Northwest.  One of the most stylish, bella figura movies ever made.

So, to take us into the weekend, Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint - cool, sexy style - bella figura through and through!




Style overload!  And I must admit: while I'm a nonsmoker - and anti-smoking - it's just sexy as all get out when Eva Marie Saint pulls Cary Grant's hand toward her and blows out the match.  What a great move.
