I love Robert Redford.  I love Gene Kelly.

Now, why would I mention those two particular gentlemen?  Well, I just read a lovely tribute to Mr. Kelly, written by Mr. Redford.  Here's a part of it:

I miss Gene Kelly.
I miss that rare time in American life when we had a character that exemplified sheer talent, joie de vivre, and a can-do attitude.
A character that also represented what America was - or at least thought of itself.  And all so effortlessly...

And to those lovely words I would add: a character that exemplified great style.

Many things make me smile, but the one thing I know for sure will always make me smile?  Gene Kelly,  "singing and dancing in the rain."
