Yesterday I posted a link to a wonderful article about the Kennedy family, and their fashion style.  In keeping with that piece, for today's They Get It segment, I have a lovely video filled with photos of the Kennedys.

There are lots of casual family photos that are delightful.  And with the passing of Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Ted Kennedy,  a special poignance is attached to the pictures. 

But  the elegant, refined style of dressing is the reason I chose the video for today's piece.  There's nothing showy, nothing over the top, nothing that screams look at me - just lovely, beautifully tailored suits and dresses, tasteful jewelry, striking hats.

Coco Chanel said, Some people think luxury is the opposite of poverty.  It is not.  It is the opposite of vulgarity.  Well, this video illustrates that this family absolutely understood and agreed with that statement.
